2015

In 2011, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation published a report titled Rethinking Disability Policy. That report reviewed aspects of UK disability policy since the early 1990s and evaluated the policies being introduced at the time by the Coalition Government. This report, built from two discussion meetings with a diverse range of Disabled people in September 2014 and June 2015, aimed to rethink disability policy in light of the developing, austerity-era context. The report outlines what changes to disability policy Disabled people were personally concerned about and affected by, before considering priority areas for action and next steps for keeping the discussion live.
