Two consultants – Association for Young People’s Health

The Association for Young People’s Health is recruiting two young people to become consultants on a new three year project. The focus is on developing a rights-based approach to sexual violence work with young people. This is an exciting opportunity for young people who are experts by experience to support the development and evaluation of a participation project with a particularly marginalised group. It will be a flexible role with a set number of days per year that can easily fit around other work, education or caring commitments.

The two Youth Advisers will have prior experience of using a sexual violence service or peer support group and have taken part in group work with other young people with a focus on sexual violence.  All applicants must fill out an application form – CVs will not be accepted. The application process has been designed to be as accessible as possible and have given space for anonymous feedback from young people about the process on the separate equal opportunities form.

The closing date for applications is Friday 28th June 2019.  Full details about the role and a link to the application form can be found on the Young people’s Health website: http://www.youngpeopleshealth.org.uk/youth-advisers
