In January 2015 Shaping Our Lives and User Voice carried out research with user-led organisations and people who have experience of multiple disadvantages; including people at risk of violence and abuse, drug misuse, homelessness and people with experience of the penal system. The research investigates the barriers to groups securing funding, running projects that will make systematic changes and how to meaningfully involve service users in funding processes. The report, Engaging people with lived experience of severe and multiple disadvantage, is now available to read. Shaping Our Lives and User Voice are now looking to disseminate the learning as widely as possible.
After reading the report if you are interested in a workshop or training within your organisation then do get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org
