  • More than half of the population are able to access evening and weekend appointments for general practice services, surpassing the Government’s mandate of 40%.
  • Cancer survival has never been higher. Figures show one year survival at 72.3% for people diagnosed in 2015, amounting to a further 0.7% year-on-year increase.

NHS England has comprehensively exceeded the target of 2,000 women being able to access specialist perinatal mental health services, as 7,000 more women accessed specialist care in 2017/18.
