The Victims’ Commissioner Dame Vera Baird QC worked alongside Revolving Doors to bring  policy makers, victim support commissioners and homelessness service providers to discuss  research into how people with multiple needs experience crime.

The conversation was sparked by the report “We are victims, too” into the experiences of people in supported accommodation and countless times they were the victims of serious and violent crime.

It was agreed that much more needs to be done by service and the police to tackle the issue. Revolving Doors  will continue to work with the Victims’ Commissioner to raise awareness and look for solutions.
